A master of the Huqin and a National Class One Musician, Jiang serves as the Honorary Concertmaster of the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra and is a member of the 13th and 14th National Committees of the CPPCC. Recognized as a designated cultural talent under China's Central Publicity Department and a recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance, she was named a Chinese Extraordinary Folk Performer. Her prominent leadership roles include serving as the Head of the Chinese Folk Music Department and Doctoral Supervisor at the Harbin Conservatory of Music, Visiting Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music, and Vice President of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society Huqin Committee.
An eclectic explorer of the Huqin's possibilities, Jiang has cultivated a unique performance style characterized by elegance, refinement, and nobility. Her acclaimed recitals have graced premier venues worldwide, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing and Carnegie Hall in New York. She has collaborated with numerous prestigious ensembles--such as the China Philharmonic Orchestra and the State AcademicSymphony Orchestra of Russia-and has given world premieres of major Huqin works, including Beijing Impressions and Farewell My Concubine.
Highly sought after globally, Jiang has performed in over sixty countries, with notable appearances at the Cannes Film Festival, the Prague Spring Festival, the Opening Gala of the 2008 Olympic Cultural Festival, and the 2014 APEC Gala, Vienna's Golden Hall, and the United Nations General Assembly Hall. At home her musical voice features prominently in the soundtracks of iconic film and television productions like Not One Less and Drawing Sword. Her composition Yu Ji earned Gold Awards at multiple domestic TV festivals, complementing an acclaimed discography that includes Chinese Banhu and Romance of Huqin.
