Chen Yin

Former Pipa Principal and Plucked-string Section Principal of the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra, Chen serves as President of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society Pipa Committee and Vice President of the Pipa Society of the Chinese Musicians' Association.

Chen's compositions for the Pipa include Dance of the Mountains, Melodies of the Mountains, Song of the Autumn Moon, Journey to the Grassland, A Lyric on the West Wind, Flicking Moonbeams, and The Prime of Youth.

Chen has published the score collection Chen Yin Pipa Spectrum, as well as the DVD albums Gold Finger: Chinese Pipa by Chen Yin, Riding on the Current, and A Lyric on the West Wind.
